WebI live in an old 1930's house that doesn't have any a/c. It has central heat but only on the first floor. What it does have is an old unused chimney that runs from the basement to the attic. I assume that the chimney was in poor repair at some point and they removed the top part that goes outside so it stops at the attic floor.
